Since the 2022 adoption of Carrboro Connects, the Town's comprehensive plan, staff and Town Council have begun implementing its various priority policies and projects.

This summer, Planning, Zoning, & Inspections (PZI) is engaging with our residents on a few topics that have come out of the first year of implementing the comprehensive plan. Use the links below to stay up to date with new topics and tools to provide feedback to town staff and Town Council.
Planning Open Houses
Carrboro Planning, Zoning, & Inspections Department (PZI) will be hosting a series of Open Houses for Carrboro residents:

January 2023 Council Retreat
On January 21, 2023, the Town Council held a retreat to discuss the Town's priorities from among its ongoing and upcoming programs, services, and projects. The Town Council reaffirmed the implementation of Carrboro Connects as a priority at the retreat, and evaluated other goals for consistency with the plan.

December 2022 Update
